About us

I'm David. I'm a concreter, a dad to four girls, and I've been pouring slabs across Brisbane for 18 years.

Here's what you need to know about me: I'm not here to sell you something you don't need. If your idea is going to cost twice as much for no real benefit, I'll tell you. If there's a smarter way to do it, I'll show you.

Why? Because I'd want someone to do the same for my wife. She's busy keeping our kids alive and doesn't have time for tradies who over-promise and under-deliver. I figure you're the same.

So here's my promise: I'll tell you how it is, I'll do the job properly, and I won't stop until it's done. You've got a lot on your plate. I'll handle the concrete.

Concreting services

Pick the job. Each one has its own page with what I'd actually recommend for a house with kids in it.

No stress. I've got it.

You're not scared of the price, you're scared of the process. Fair enough. Here's how I take it off your plate.

01

The No Mess promise

We leave your property cleaner than we found it. No concrete residue, no stray nails, no surprises in the lawn.

02

Quotes you can actually read

Itemised, with a one-line summary at the top: here's the total, it includes everything, here's what happens next.

03

A text the day before

A rough arrival window, so you're not stuck at home waiting for a tradie.

04

A safe site, every night

Work area fenced, no exposed steel, no trip hazards left behind when we knock off.

How it works

Quote to clean-up. You just say yes.

  1. 01

    Quote

I come out, listen to the idea and give you an itemised quote in plain English. Total, what's included, what happens next.

  2. 02

    Schedule

We lock in dates that suit you. I text the day before with a rough arrival time so you're not waiting around.

  3. 03

    Pour

Site fenced, base done properly, steel in, concrete poured and finished. You get on with your day.

  4. 04

    Clean

Formwork out, everything hosed down, not a nail left in the lawn.

  5. 05

    Done

A walk-through together, how to look after it, and a check-in text a few weeks later.

Questions parents actually ask

Something I haven't covered? Send it through with your quote and I'll answer it straight.

Not in the work area. We fence it off and keep tools, steel and wet concrete behind it. The rest of the yard carries on as normal, and I'll let you know what's happening each day.

About a day for feet, around a week for the car. I'll give you exact timing for your mix and the weather, and put a reminder in the text.

No. As long as we can get to the site, you can get on with your day. I'll text you updates and photos.

Most driveways, paths and patios don't. Some jobs do, like a new crossover onto the footpath or a taller retaining wall. I'll tell you upfront if yours does and help sort the paperwork, so it's not another job on your list.

Something smooth enough for bikes and scooters but with grip for wet feet. A light broom finish is hard to beat. Save the rougher feature finishes for where nobody's falling off a scooter.

Yes. QBCC licence 15372237, fully insured, and I'm a licensed builder as well as a concreter.
