Not in the work area. We fence it off and keep tools, steel and wet concrete behind it. The rest of the yard carries on as normal, and I'll let you know what's happening each day.

About a day for feet, around a week for the car. I'll give you exact timing for your mix and the weather, and put a reminder in the text.

No. As long as we can get to the site, you can get on with your day. I'll text you updates and photos.

Most driveways, paths and patios don't. Some jobs do, like a new crossover onto the footpath or a taller retaining wall. I'll tell you upfront if yours does and help sort the paperwork, so it's not another job on your list.

Something smooth enough for bikes and scooters but with grip for wet feet. A light broom finish is hard to beat. Save the rougher feature finishes for where nobody's falling off a scooter.

Yes. QBCC licence 15372237, fully insured, and I'm a licensed builder as well as a concreter.

Rochedale, Redlands & Brisbane's southside. Not sure if you're in range? Send me a message and ask.

Cash or bank transfer, whichever is easier for you. It's all laid out in the quote so there are no surprises.

You can walk on it after about a day. Cars wait around a week. I'll give you the exact timing for your mix and the weather.

Sometimes. If the base is sound, resurfacing can save you a lot. If it's lifting or sinking, I'll tell you honestly that patching it is money down the drain.

I recommend it. A good sealer keeps the colour rich and makes it much easier to hose clean. Resealing every few years keeps it looking sharp.

Darker colours hold more heat. If the kids run around barefoot, go lighter. I'll show you samples in the sun before you pick.

Yes, and it usually goes hand in hand with a retaining wall. We plan both together so they meet cleanly.

For a lot of sheds and every house slab, yes. I'll tell you upfront whether yours needs one and help get it organised.

Taller walls, and walls close to a house or boundary, often do. I'll tell you on the first visit and help you through the paperwork.

Yes. As a licensed builder I can take a project from the slab through to handover and coordinate the trades in between.

Something with texture. A light broom, a sealed exposed aggregate or a finish with an anti-slip additive all work. Smooth steel-trowelled concrete is the one to avoid.

Usually a soft base, missing joints or not enough steel. Knowing why tells us whether a repair will last.
